The Miracle of Rose Hip Oil

Scarring
Another study conducted in the USA involved ten women (aged 45 – 68) who had undergone masectomy (breast removal) and who had significant scarring. The women massaged rose hip oil into the site of their wounds twice per day, starting on the day that their stitches were removed. After three months of daily rose hip oil treatment it was noted that the scars were greatly diminished and that the women had no lumps. Also, their skin elasticity and skin colour had improved.
Wound Healing
Latin American researchers recently tested rose hip oil on wound healing in patients with skin ulcers. Several weeks of daily application of rose hip oil caused significantly greater wound healing compared with another group who received a placebo oil.
