Lavender Oil is one of the most popular essential oils used throughout the world.

  • Inhalation - Daily diffusing in the home / workplace

  • Inhalation - Diffusing in the bedroom at night

  • Inhalation - Sprinkle a few drops on the pillow to assist in falling to sleep

  • Direct inhalation – Add a single drop of oil onto hands, rub together and cup over the nose and let the vapour inundate the senses for a super inhalation

N.B. For topical application, it is recommended, to dilute the potency of pure essential oils.

Add 1 teaspoon of carrier oil (eg. coconut, olive, almond oil) to the essential oil; rub into the fingertips and then onto the skin.

With any resulting irritation, applications should be ceased.

  • Topical application - massage onto the neck, chest, temples and behind the ears is effective

  • Topical application -Rub oil into the soles of the feet

  • Topical application - Adding peppermint oil to lavender (2drops of each) and apply to the back of the neck, the temples and forehead along with the abovementioned direct inhalation is a most effective natural treatment for headaches
